Henry Bassman is the lead consultant and managing partner for Communications Plus Consulting.
During the past decade, Henry has provided communications and consulting services for a wide range of businesses covering high technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device subjects. Numerous articles about these subjects have appeared on ABCNews.com, Forbes, Fortune and other Web sites.
Henry received the 2012 New Jersey Press Association First Place Award for Best Columng in an online publication. He is the author of Uncommon Sense on www.thealthernativepress.com.
Henry formerly was a public relations director for AT&T, where he developed, planned and implemented external and internal communications for telecommunications, computers, online
services and other high-technology businesses.
He conceived, wrote and produced Connections, AT&T's Vision of The Future, which received the CINE Golden Eagle Award plus the New York Festivals Gold Medal and recognition from several other prestigious contests. The Connections video has been seen by 6 million viewers and set a new standard for corporate visions of the future.
While at Bell Laboratories he participated in the introduction of optical communications, cellular telephony, very large scale integrated circuits, computer networking, digital switching and the UNIX operating system.
Henry also worked as a radio news director and television field producer for ABC News in Washington, D.C. after serving a three-year tour as an officer in the U.S. Army.
He holds a BA degree in Communications from the University of Miami with minors in Speech, Drama, Education, Spanish and Military Science.
